EP #16: Guest – Toyin Ope – There is No Baby Holy Spirit

Guest - Toyin Ope - There is no Baby Holy Spirit

We’ve been talking about the power inside us, the promise of God — the Holy Spirit. I’ve got to say that this podcast episode is one of my favorites, and maybe, just maybe, it’s because our guest shared about God’s power expressed in her 4-year old daughter.

Toyin Ope is first and foremost a beloved daughter of God. She is also a wife and mother to two amazing little kids. Toyin is an ordained minister and serves in both youth and women’s ministries. Toyin is a certified public accountant (CPA), has an MBA from Queen’s University, and has worked in the Oil and Gas industry for 12 years in 5 countries across 4 different continents. She specializes in Social Investment — managing a portfolio of corporate-sponsored programs to bring about positive social change for the marginalized and underrepresented youth in America.

In this podcast, Toyin talks about:

  • Why there is nothing like a baby Holy Spirit (she shares stories of her daughter as an example).
  • How we need to pay more attention to the internal dialogue that goes on in the brains of our kids because God can manifest His power in children too.
  • How the biggest manifestation of the Holy Spirit in her life has been what He has done on the inside of her (before anything external). “When the Holy Spirit comes into your heart, you fall in love. You’re not trying to see how far you can get before it’s sin, instead, you’re like, “How close can I stay?””
